Title: SemGroup Trainwreck
Post by: oiltrader on September 13, 2008, 05:57:50 PM
Just wanted to see what the SemGroup comments of late might be.  I saw the old "Sem Group" discussions (with the space between Sem and Group) and things died out about 8/23 or so.

Anyone out there watching the SemGroup "trainwreck" unfold?

3-5 years to unravel....that's a guestimate.

Orange suiting takes time.....especially, when government lawyers are mostly inept. That's a guess too.

Kansas.com has an article today about the new leader of KIOGA and SemGroup is well discussed from a Kansas perspective.

Just talked to a small natgas marketer in one of the mountain states and he said thee "SemGroup thing" has started to affect his business.  Credit managers are complaining about the size of his company and dragging SemGroup's troubles into the fray.
His company is solid but SemGroup has every credit manager in the business completely freaked out.  Thanks a lot, SemGroup!!
