Come Take The Walk on Saturday September 20, 2008 at 3:30pm. We will start out in front of the main entrance of the BOK Center, located on the Northwest corner at the intersection of West 3rd Street and South Denver Ave in Tulsa, OK. We will travel approximately 1 mile total by foot, minus shoes (optional, but encouraged).
For each person participating, $1 will be donated to help build a school for impoverished children in Africa through one of the leading organizations helping children through education: Free The Children.
Please park in appropriate areas.
Anyone needing assistance with directions to the fairgrounds for parking before going the QuikTrip Festival should wait in front of the BOK Center after the Walk is complete. There will be someone to lead you to the fairgrounds.
Bring your friends, family, pets, etc. The more, the merrier!
