Television will change dramatically on February 17, 2009, when all full-power television stations across the country complete the federally mandated transition from analog to digital television (DTV) broadcasting. And while consumers have much to gain – including more free channels and crystal-clear pictures and sound – more than 34 million households that watch television using antennas risk losing their reception unless they take the easy step to upgrade. Join the Tulsa City-County Library, local broadcasters and the National Association of Broadcasters to learn more about the change in television service, what you can do to prepare, and how to receive a $40 coupon to apply to a TV converter box.
I havent been able to get my cox, sci-fi or BBC channel all week. HD or otherwise. Ugh. Wonder if it has something to do with the change over or them upgrading?
