TMUA's meeting next week (//%22http://www.cityoftulsa.org/agendas/agendax.asp?FN=0009E8E8&num=1%22) amounts to a closed-door event with discussions of their EPA & DEQ Violation Notices, ostensibly with their attorneys.
While some of that may seem necessary (if one takes the posture that a legal defense is the last resort), the events surrounding this notification of violations and what they intend to do to rectify the situation to EPA/DEQ's satisfaction SHOULD be a matter of PUBLIC discussion.
Why isn't it?
They havent indicated a regular meeting following the closed-door session with a public part to announce any conclusions/recommendations, etc.
What are these guys hiding?
[EDITED TO A FUTURE TENSE BY WRINKLE]
CYA spin session.

The link you posted is for a meeting next Weds. morning, unless I've been asleep for a week and today is the 27th.
There is legal discussions surrounding sewer regulations. Any time there are discussions involving legal issues, it is smart to do it in executive session. Any action will have to take place in a public meeting, but discussions can be done in executive session.

You're correct. Hasn't happened yet. But, will.
Hold my posting until next Wednesday afternoon, please.
Actually, I was looking at several agendas at the time and apparently confused dates.

I'm actually only slightly less outaged that it's still going to happen than if it already had.
