A couple of nights ago I was heading home from Lake Hudson area, decided to stop in BA to see my new granddaughter, and thought I would grab a bite to eat.
Although not usually a fast food person, I apparently had not had sufficient grease in my diet because fried chicken was on my mind. I pulled into Popeye's on Kenosha.
Went in, asked the young lady where the part of the menu was that dealt with just chicken. She told me I could order it by the piece, but it was cheaper to order a meal. I don't understand how three pieces of chicken would be more expensive than three pieces of chicken, two sides, and a soft drink.
Went across the street to KFC. Three pieces of extra crispy, a biscuit, and a small tea was nearly $6.00.
I thought it a bit much. So I stopped off at Church's on Elm. Three pieces of dark, with a biscuit.......$2.98 including tax.
I wonder who is going to get my future business? Like I said, I don't hit those places often, but when I do....................
Yeah it's very expensive. There's a Carl JR near that area by the Wal-Mart store and they have a fast food self-service computer in that place- or they did. I kid ya not. You punch in what you want and don't have to say a word.

oh I know....I hasnt been to a hardees in forever so when I went to carls jr the other day I was blown away! Why don't ALL fast food places have those kiosks? That way when the drone ****s up your order you know it wasnt because they misunderstood you.
Charlie's Chicken has been good to me. Lots of yummeh food, not too expensive.

Half the time I went there the computer thing was down and out of order, maybe they got the bugs out and it works better now. I'd rather have a person so I don't have to do all the work. I'm also no fan of those self-serv check-out lanes in stores, I feel since I'm doing all the work and save the store money on labor costs I should get a discount when I use self-serv check out lanes, maybe something like 5 percent or 10 percent off the total bill. Stores must save a ton a money on labor costs with those self-serv checkout lanes and they don't pass the savings on to the customers.

well, since I am technically literate I'd rather do my own order than try to talk to Senor Fuxitup.
