No wonder he hasn't posted anything for a while -- he's been on the road (//%22http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/ufos/article1451303.ece%22):

'Anti-alien' hats for Wales

By STAFF REPORTER

Published: 22 Jul 2008

A US boffin has pledged 'anti-alien' hats to Welsh UFO-spotters after The Sun revealed how stunned police gave chase to a UFO over Cardiff.

The 'thought screen' - creation of US aircraft worker Michael Menkin - is claimed to protect people from being abducted.

And he told a local newspaper that the Welsh should make their own hats in the wake of UFO reports.

In June, we reported how a mystery aircraft zoomed straight at a police chopper as the three-man cop crew prepared to land.

Seattle-based Mr Menkin claims his hat blocks aliens from contacting humans through telepathy.

He said: "The people in Wales will benefit by making their own helmets.

"Everybody would be a lot safer if they had one in the house. There seems to have been more reports (of UFOs) lately in Wales and Scotland and the western half of the British Isles."

The 65-year-old claims he has tested the hat on people who say they have been abducted.

He explained that a material called Velostat blocks alien communication.

But the hats have been slammed as "ridiculous".

Margaret Fry, of the Welsh Fellowship of Ufologists, fumed: "I have seen UFOs, but I don't believe in crackpot ideas like this.

"It's ridiculous. People in the Welsh Federation have been investigating UFOs for 40 years and none of us subscribes to this nonsense."

Pretty bad when the ufologists think you're a crackpot.

Click the above link and you'll see the familiar visage of Bruno wearing his thought screen.

My bad, I thought you meant "In a whale" not "In Wales", I thought he might be looking for Nemo or Captain Ahab.[;)]

Well, FOTD may read left wing blogs, but MB reads The Sun and boots up UFO stories.

my 6 day whirlwind summary: the rejects are often very accepted, the effects really could be special, beer and rice make for a great evening, bad (really bad) guys sometimes pretend to be good guys [hell is probably full], never trust a dog, tremors suck and t-bones can be horrible... who knew? i did, or should've.

flo nailed it in the 9th grade- "not fair? life is not fair and i don't ever want to hear you say that again"... no ****. it's never fair.
