Title: Celebration Restaurant
Post by: dayzella on July 02, 2008, 01:26:42 PM
I'm going to be lucky enough to be taken out to dinner wherever I like in the Green Country region.  I haven't been out to many fancy restaurants here in Tulsa since the move - we've been to the Polo Grill, Biga, the Local Table and the Palace Cafe each once and Lucky's a couple of times.  I am looking forward to the opportunity to wear something other than tennis shoes and a t-shirt to dinner.

Suggestions on where to go are very welcome :)

Michael Fusco's Riverside Grill or Mahoghany

We don't get to the fancy places too often. They have dress standards and my son is only the third generation of my family to regularly wear shoes.

I like all the places you mentioned, but the Polo Grill is the one I like the best.

If you enjoy steaks, even if it's fish, I was just recently introduced to Molly's Landing.  Loved it.

If it's Green Country region, consider my shameless spam for my new friends out at Canebrake Resort.

Micheal V's.  As long as its adults only.  Don't accost the other patrons with your bratty kids.

A true professional duck.  Substitute the vowel, if you like.

I would recommend Mahoghany's or if you don't mind driving a little further south, Michael V's at about 103rd and Memorial. It is tucked into the corner of the strip mall there. Very good food at a very reasonble price. Excellent deserts. You can check out the menu at www.michaelvsrestaurant.com

How about The Brasserie in Brookside then a short walk across the street to Kokoa's for dessert nightcap?  That's a nice evening.

True statement and that's more and more important to me the older I get.

Tell me, Obi Wan, have you finally been enlightened to the treasures of Canebrake?

I would not call of these fancy, but they are my favourites.

I recommend the Stone Horse. It is on the other side of Utica Square to Polo. I love Polo Grill as well. My fiancé proposed to me there. [:)]

I also like the White Lion (not flashy but good English food)

The Garlic rose is nice they have live music out in the courtyard and outdoor seating.

The French Hen is nice. Don't judge it by the shopping centre its in.

Dalesandros is really delicious Italian. I only go in the summer when I can eat on the patio.
