"We called over our waiter and asked what was going on. He had another girl come over to talk with us. This girl, in particular, had served us many times before at Ashai. She told us that the original owner of Asahi had sold the business six years ago to work at large sushi restaurants on the west and east coasts. Then he decided to come back to Tulsa and start another sushi place. "

FYI - "Wasabi" in the United States is usually horseradish dyed green. I was sad when I learned that. BUT, for what it's worth, Wasabi is a relative of horseradish anyway.
Thanks for that! I do belive it is from the horseradish family? ? Anyway has anyone else tried this place? I have been itching to try it..I was at Fuji on brookside last weekend..and while it was good..I always like to find new places...
