Looking for a restaurant around the 91st and Memorial area that serves a really good breakfast.
BBD-II is at 81st & Harvard and excellent.
Mimi's at 71st & Memorial is also very good.
There's a tiny hole-in-the-wall diner next to the RibCrib on 81st and Yale. Excellent breakfast! Try the Tuscan Scramble. Everything comes with Feral family bread.
Forgot the name. Good food and coffee!
I think it's called Debbie's.

I ate at savoy once based on all the reviews and was highly underwhelmed. Not sure if I'll ever go back but it's been 15 years so far.
There used to be a 24hr place near the motel strip on the west side. Had a sign promoting "girlie Pancakes". Went there once, is it still there?
Girlie pancakes...they're stacked better!

I am so glad to know that I am not the only one who felt that way. Savoy, only okay, didn't rattle my world.

That's exactly their slogan. Are they still there?

Savoy chicken put me in the hospital with salmonella in '96. Allegedly.

It's not at all what you're asking for, but Panera serves a pretty good breakfast quiche. ;)

There is nothing special about this place. The food is pretty much diner fare. NOthing really outstanding in my book. Went twice and can still not find a reason to go a third time. I would rather go to The Blue Dome Diner or to maybe Rio Verde. As to the location in question. Too far out of my circle to really want to go there for breakfast.

I don't know about the quiche, but I have yet to eat anything there that was better than mediocre, except an overpriced bagel. That was good.

M.Bates said it was gone in an obscure post I saw on the 'net! But here's a pic I found on the 'net, taken in 1990!
