A woman died and a man was seriously injured Monday in a head-on collision on a Tulsa highway, and two other men were seriously injured in a crash involving a cement mixer on another Tulsa highway.
The fatal crash occurred when a Jeep Wrangler pulled from the U.S. 75 median onto the highway near Apache Street and hit a southbound Chevrolet Silverado about 3:40 p.m., Tulsa Police Officer Jason Willlingham said.

Stats are catching up, people. 2 die EVERY day in Oklahoma because of motor vehicles.
Are you saying that our concrete trucks should be bicycle powered or that had the concrete truck run into a cyclist it would not have resulted in a fatality?
What point are you trying to make by exploiting these peoples deaths? At least make it clear.
Another sad case of "posting while intoxicated."

Stupid Motor-vehicles! They're going to be the death of us all if we don't capture and eradicate them!

EXACTLY my point. Show me a DRUNKEN, reckless, outta-control bicyclist, I'll show you the village IDIOT impersonating Santa who sings NEKKID 4 $1.
Show me a DRUNKEN, reckless, outta-control MOTORIST, I'll show you Kimberly ELIZABETH Graham (//%22http://iic.tulsacounty.org/InmateDetails.aspx?Id=1180097%22), THE poster girl for ALL drunken, RECKLESS, outta-control MOTORISTS.

Did anyone notice the only bicyclist that didn't get plowed was also the only one smart enough to not be riding in the street?
I love the smell of strewn bike parts in the morning...

MAKE my DAY.
IP, my morbidly favorite thing about that picture is that the cop car has apperently swerved OUT of the way of the oncoming car. Nice.
I can only hope he was in front of the bikers before swerving...
That's what happens when you ride in a pack, it's like a herd of cows, they probably weren't even looking out for cars.
I know it's wrong to laugh at that picture, but it has to be the funniest thing I've seen all week. I imagine Darwin looking on with pleasure.
And Tay, "MAKE my DAY" please...you ride a bike all day long for God's sake, you dress in a santa suit and whore yourself out for a dollar.
I can't possibly make your life worse than it already is.

TRY. Go ahead. Bring it.
I've told you before, I have no ill will towards you and actually find you mildly amusing, but I don't think the city of Tulsa would shed any tears if the day came that you got turned into a Santa suit covered sausage patty.
All I can say is milk it for what it's worth because you're in a high risk hobby.

I'm glad someone finds me AMUSING. I don't think I'm all that funny. I actually ENJOY spouting off the latest motorist road kill stories to counter GENIUSES who go around spouting off about how dangerous biking is. Pretty morbid stuff, I'd say.
According to OHSO stats, another TWO motorists will die TODAY in Oklahoma. According to AAA, another 247 motorists will die on AMERICAN streets in the next couple of days. By the end of this year, 10 times more will die on AMERICAN streets than on Iraqi streets from the last FIVE years.
Yep. It's DANGEROUS out there, people. SLOW DOWN.
A Sperry man died Tuesday from injuries he sustained in an Osage County crash last month.
Also Tuesday, authorities released the name of a woman who died in a head-on collision on U.S. 75 in Tulsa.
Dead are Nathan Kail Thurston, 19, of Sperry and Sheila Ann Layton, 46, of Tulsa.
Thurston died at a Tulsa hospital, where he was taken after a single-vehicle crash about five miles northeast of Tulsa on May 23, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.
Again, what is your point here Paul?
If your point is that too many Americans die in car crashes, I agree. If you think riding your bike on the freeway or int he middle of 45 mph city traffic will somehow help solve that problem, I disagree.
So, once more - what's your point?

Which time are you referring to? He's got at least a couple of those as I understand it. A few trespass on city property (I assume he has been banned from several forums) and at least an obstruction charge every time he is stopped. In addition to my favorite, "OUTRAGING PUBLIC DECENCY." Ahh, that one just tells it like it is.
But I'm sure his wrap sheet is all because he was fighting the good fight, not because he is an attention whore who doesn't care who he pisses off or endangers to get his little thrill.
I still find you amusing Paul, but in a very irritating way. I'm damn glad you're one of a kind, well other than BikerFox, which is like your G rated equivalent but WAY more amusing on YouTube and his website. Be afraid, be very afraid:

MONTERREY, Mexico (AP) -- A car plowed into a weekend bike race along a highway near the U.S.-Mexico border, killing one and injuring 10 others, police said.
The 28-year-old
driver was apparently
drunk and fell asleep when he crashed into the race, said police investigator Jose Alfredo Rodriguez.
A photograph taken by a city official showed bicyclists and equipment being hurled high into the air by the collision.
Rodriguez said Juan Campos was charged with killing Alejandro Alvarez, 37, of Monterrey.
Authorities said the wreck happened 15 minutes into the 34-kilometer (21 mile) race Sunday along a highway between Playa Bagdad and Matamoros, across from Brownsville, Texas.
Campos said he is an American citizen living in Brownsville. The U.S. Consulate could not immediately confirm that.
"We are looking into the incident in terms of whether American citizens were involved,"

A 53-year old Wyoming resident was injured in a Thursday morning traffic accident when his vehicle crashed into a heat exchanger west of Mannford.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Scott Holt, was driving eastbound on state Highway 51 when his H2 Hummer crossed over the center line of state Highway 51 and struck a westbound oversized load. The driver of the Hummer was trapped for 50 minutes before rescue crews could free Holt.

I didn't post pictures of bicycle accidents. I always thought you were slow, but wow, get that's a new low for you.
It's pretty difficult for anyone on this forum to do anything about motor vehicle accidents. Even we all decided to wear Santa suits and drive bicycles and be regionally celebrated asshats like you, the rest of the normal world would still drive cars. So other than not drinking and driving (which I have no reason anyone on this forum does), I'm not sure how you can hold anyone on this forum responsible for motor accidents.
You, on the other hand, can be held individually responsible for messing up traffic and creating dangerous situations. I wish you had a serious point, Paul, but you don't. You routinely make yourself a fool for attention. You have routinely made a habit of insulting people rather than focusing on the issue at hand -- you'd rather get a cheap laugh or thrill. I've seen it in your ridiculous campaign speeches in the past. That doesn't help anything or anyone.
It would be one thing if your comments were A) genuinely funny, or B) aimed at some sort of benefit to make this world a better place, or C) benign. But your actions involve none of these things. The hornets in my garage do more for the world than you do.
And now you've stooped so low as to derive some sort of personal benefit (and failed attempt at humor) from the deaths of people in motor accidents. Really, if you think that makes the world a better place, get help.
People die in motor vehicle accidents nearly every day in Oklahoma, it is tragic but true. Less people die on bicycles for a variety of reasons. That issue has been given enough attention, as several users have pointed out user "1099Paralegal" has also been given enough attention.
Please feel free to raise and discuss issues of importance, but we do not need three threads in circular discussion on the same topic nor do we need to exploit accidents for ones personal agenda. Since the initial point has been made, the secondary issues not discussed, and our illustrious user garnered his attention for the week - this thread is locked.
