Title: 71st and Lewis gas station torn down
Post by: safetyguy on June 02, 2008, 11:07:47 AM
Anyone know what they are going replace it with? I was in the area today for the first time in a while and noticed that it had been torn down. I knew that it had closed a while back.

I think those smaller format stations are getting torn down in hopes of making the property saleable. They did it to one at 81st and Sheridan about 4-5 years ago and nothing has gone in yet.

It's good that the poor struggling casualties of I-44 can muster up a few spare pennies.

Your tax dollars at work....both Diamond Jacks and Moody's got a stepped up basis with lots of highway condemnation funds to go out out and better their situations. Jamil's?
Lana Thai?
