My son is playing in a big youth soccer tournament this weekend in east Tulsa. It is a qualifying tournament for the national 3v3 tournament in Orlando this fall.
The fields are at the Union soccer complex at 36th and 136th east avenue. There are over 600 teams and 3,000 players involved. Teams come from many states, in my son's bracket, there are teams from Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. It is the biggest soccer tournament ever hosted at that complex.
Admission is free.
Youth sports are not only good for the youth, but tournaments like this are good for Tulsa and Broken Arrow hotels and restaurants.
Thanks for the heads up. I will avoid the area like the plague this weekend.
