Good for the city, C-USA, and Tulsa.

"Good for the city...and Tulsa"? Has this town finally been renamed the Bixby-Jenks Metropolitan Statistical Area? I know some of the folks down there think their little cowtowns are somehow more important than Tulsa.
The second "Tulsa" was supposed to be the "University of Tulsa." It's ubiquitous in my mind. [:)]
Also, great landing for the BOK center as this is nationally televised on CBS.
Hopefully TU's in the final. If not the attendance could be pretty embarassing on national TV.

Jenks is far from just a cowtown. Between the new developments, multimillion dollar houses and school system, how can you call it a cowtown?

True, but that would be the case in any CUSA city, including Memphis. Same thing if someone crewy like Colorado faced Iowa State in the Big 12 final.
TU has traveled the best of any CUSA school to the CUSA tournament in Memphis the last three years, but that isn't really saying much. I jumped in the car and drove to Memphis after they beat UTEP this year; when I got to the arena, there were probably 50-70 TU fans and a band.
TU did make the finals every year we hosted the WAC tournament.
Will the harm from this damned vision 2025 ever end?

Sorry, I had to :D
cause spouting bull**** is your specialty?
In a few weeks when the drillers announce their move to Jenks we'll see how well those words hold up.

You have competition?
If you read the other thread, even the Jenks developers say the Driller's aren't coming to Jenks.

I keep saying that about Oklahoma City.
