Was sitting at the intersection of 11th and Harvard today when I noticed the parking lot next to the old Golden Pawn is now gone.

Anyone know what's going in there?

I pray it's the glorious return of the Metro Diner! I miss their chicken fried steaks Sad

Either that or Wendy's... They said they wanted to stay in the area.

Not sure, but I watch it with interest every day when I drive by.  I hope it is a Wendy's (hope it was Metro, but too small) since the alternative is probably just parking.  Which would seem odd, to tear out an underused lot to put in a lot that would be underused.

Someone check the permits, or maybe I'll ask if anyone is still there when I drive by tonight.

I'd heard originally Wendy's was going in the over-flow lot north of F&M Bank on Harvard, but hadn't heard anything on that for about six months.
