That was a priority over the off road experience at
31st and Harvard?31st and Harvard has 84,000 vehicles a day on 8 lanes with a left turn lane (no right turn lanes). The pavement is totally spent, I fear breaking something on my SUV. The roadway actually leaks water from time to time. When it rains hard the approaching right lane on Harvard is not usable. I routinely take the side streets to avoid waiting 2 or 3 lights at that intersection during "rush" hour even when dry.
81st and Harvard has 55,000 vehicles a day on 8 lanes of traffic with 8 left turn lanes and 8 right turn lanes. The pavement is pristine. I've never had to wait or even fear waiting more than one light.
But we prioritize the lower volume, better equipment, newly refurbished intersection? Then we sit back and wonder why our roads suck.
P.S.: INCOG, just put the information in a damn PDF.
