Have you seen all the hotels in Owasso? Just because Bixby is small doesnt mean they dont get a lot of business travelers, product vendors, people selling to those businesses, coming into town to check on how the "chain is doing", to do training, to be trained, business services of all kinds, to possibly open a business, etc. etc. etc.  All that kind of stuff is a huge part of a hotels business in those locations. Its not about conventions or holiday travelers and family visitors. Thats only a small part of the usual traffic. Places like downtown that dont have as many businesses need convention stuff more than the areas around 71st.
