These Aren't the Droids You're Looking For

« on: November 18, 2007, 12:27:09 pm »

Many were surprised when the Arts and Entertainment network -- a cable channel generally associated with more cultural pursuits -- featured a "reality" series about a vain, self-righteous bounty hunter who goes by the name of "Dog."

But A&E didn't really click to what Duane "Dog" Chapman and his dysfunctional wannabe-cop family were about until one of his sons sold a secretly-recorded tape to a tabloid, in which the elder Chapman repeatedly referred to his son's Mexican girlfriend a "whore" and a "ni***r".

Now Chapman claims a white supremacy group has a bounty on his head after he issued an apology, according to a spokesman for the black advocacy group 'Congress Of Racial Equality'.

Maybe with the writers strike, well get to see Reality shows about Reality shows gone bad...
