They have erosion barriers set up around the lot and have had a dozer and backhoe out there working for at least a week.
It appears there were a few structures on the site that have been removed.

The lot is bordered on two sides by tracks and isn't accessible from 1st to Iroquois so I'm not sure what they would be putting there.
Too far east to be a functional downtown parking lot, IMO.
