I like cheesecake factory. Won't eat there every day or anything, but it will probably be a decent place for birthdays and stuff. The menu is ludicrous in size.

I haven't been by in awhile but considering there is a construction trailer there, I can't imagine construction starting is that far off.

TO manufacturing cheesecake. Duh.  [Tongue]
I'm pretty sure they arrive frozen.
Perhaps a more accurate name for them would simply be "cheesecake store"

The stuff at sams is cheesecake factory branded stuff. Definitely not what you get in the store. A cheesecake is like $80 and up.

What we need is a Fogo de Chao restaurant.

For some reason my company ends up going there every time we have an offsite lunch meeting.  I always cringe but the food's really not bad.  It seems to be extremely busy all the time.

My wife and I eat there every time we are in Dallas.  Glad we are getting one here.  Woodland has worked on it since Rreef owned the mall.  We always split a meal and still take our cheese cake back to the hotel with us and eat it later.  The portions are so big.

I love Fogo de Chao,  someone told me we had a place like it here, Gaucho Inc

6219 E 61st St
Tulsa, OK 74136-2120

We will co there and see if it is as good as Fogo.

I've heard Gaucho is good, but if you're on a budget, go at lunch. Lunch costs about half the price of dinner.

I thought it was funny, too....Except her predecessor would have been at Quiktrip at 3 in the afternoon getting junk food....or at the gym....or on any other number of errands.  I got used to seeing the guy tooling around town like he was retired or something.  I'm just glad Kathy shows up, even if it does seem rather minor.

Ok, now that it has been open awhile, has anyone eaten at the Cheesecake Factory?  The lines there are ridiculous.  I had a friend eat there that said everything was pretty good but way overpriced and he wont be back there to eat.

I went, waited like 30 minutes. Tip I found out later is that the bar has first come, first serve tables.

This is not a mid-price place like everything else on 71st. Two meals cost me about $65 out the door. If you keep in mind the servings are more "family size" and split a meal between two people, the prices aren't that bad. Pop is $3 though, so order water.
