New Creek Casino Parking

I was biking down the river trail today near 81st and I got to see the new asphalt jungle being put in by the casino.  There is not a single vegetation island or tree on the whole plat, just an expanse of black asphalt.  I have never been a fan of the development done in that location, but this is even bad for them.

It is sad to see such an area with such potential developed so cheaply and without any sense of scale or use of natural elements.  Because if there is one thing Tulsa needs, it is more surface parking.
