There he goes again.

At his recent press conference Bush again expressed his desire to build refineries.  If there ever was a time to build new refineries in Oklahoma, this has got to be it.  It’s time for our elected officials to heed the call and pick up some federal money for Oklahoma.

Tulsa could accomplish more than one goal:

--Federal help with redeveloping the old refineries that sit on prime riverfront property
--Development of new refineries under our control
--Revitalize our niche in the oil business

I think about LBJ and what federal money did for Texas and then I think about us wasting another prime opportunity.  We have a Republican controlled government and a president whose stated goal is to build refineries in the U.S.
