I am a TU student and I am working on a research project on development downtown.  One thing i am trying to determine is the demand for residential space.  Obviously people believe there is a future for downtown development with the Philtower Lofts and other projects being developed.  What I am trying to figure out is where is the demand coming from.

Is demand from singles, young married couples, etc?

What is the preferred square footage of a downtown residence?

Do people want to rent or own?

What is the price range (to own) or monthly rental payment that people who want to live donwtown are willing to pay? (Assume quality and stylish residences)

What is the annual income of people who desire to live downtown?

What amenities would you have to have before living downtown?  Grocery store, more restaurants, convenient, covered parking, etc.

I realize that most people probably don't want to post some of the information I asked on a public forum but if people could post responses to some of the questions, that would really help out.  Also, if anybody wishes to respond to any of the more personal questions (income), they can e-mail me at benjamin-nebb@utulsa.edu.  I will just take the data from responses, put it in a spreadsheet, and then delete the e-mail.
