Sooner or later this 6 to 10 acre tract will be developed.  We fought the Wal-Mart and we won, but the question now is what should be there?  Can anyone suggest a inovative mixed-use urban site plan and give local or national examples?  Currently only about an acre at the corner is commercial, then expanding out in L shaped blocks: RM-2, OL and finally RS-1.  The owner already owns or controls a significant amount of the RS-1 lots fronting on the west side of Jamestown.  My hope is that this discussion can actually come up with some ideas that might make sence for the owner, stimulate interest from a developer(s) and head off another big box development proposal.
