I think it is important for dogs to be able to socialize with other dogs away from their home in a controlled environment. Tulsa/Muskogee currently has no dog parks that I know of.

Dog parks are great for dogs in many ways. They allow dogs to mingle with eachother off leash in a friendly area. They also allow the dogs to get good exercise through play with other dogs. Dog parks also appeal to a dog's pack drive to be with other dogs. Of course rules should be established and put into effect, but I think people and dogs alike would benefit.

I am curious to hear opinions from Tulsa/Muskogee residents.....
