Avoid Scams by Dealing Locally.

Beware of distant buyers, especially offers above your asking price. Scammers will will pay with bogus cashier's check, asking you to wire the balance via Western Union. Banks will often cash counterfeit checks, then hold you responsible when the check fails to clear!

The best advice is to ignore offers from far away and deal with local buyers. And remember, if it sounds too good to be true- it probably is!
