Just read in the Midtown Community World that after the road construction on Peoria from 21st to 31st is completed in March, work will start soon thereafter on a $1 million streetscaping project in Brookside from 33rd to 41st Street.

The paper claims that could begin as early as April and be finished as early as October, with the goal of being done before Boo Ha Ha.

Specifically, they plan to widen the sidewalks to make it more pedestrian friendly. I'm sure there are other beautification efforts in the project.

This is sorely needed. Good job, Public Works! [Smiley]
