Related information from Vision2025.info:
It appears that the key elements of the Route 66 project may be
1) east and west Route 66 Gates to the City,
2) the relocation and repair of the Meadow Gold sign,
3) an overlook (trailhead) structure and parking on the newly acquired property at the intersection of Southwest Boulevard and Riverside Drive,
4) signage along the route and alternate route of Route 66 through Tulsa,
5) a plaza area (Centennial Plaza) at the east end of the Avery Bridge,
6) a limited scope of repair to the Avery Bridge, and
7) a possible tourist feature adjacent to Southwest Boulevard.
