Devon Energy Tower continues with replacement of windows that were damaged two years ago with the malfunctioning of a window washing basket.

Devon spokesperson Lisa Adams did not detail how many windows are left to be replaced.  "I don't have an end date for the work to be replaced, Adams said.  The window replacement process on this building is complicated and the work is done whenever the conditions are right and the work can be done safely."--Oklahoman, Thursday, May 6, 2021

Oklahoma City's historic Colcord Hotel sold

Local developers Mark Beffort and Andy Burnett who previously teamed up a decade ago, co-developed West Village, a mix of apartments and retail along Film Row, and restored the 1910 Pioneer Building at 103 Dean A. McGee Avenue near Sandridge Tower.  Among the more recent noteworthy projects in their portfolio include Heartland Headquarters.  They purchased the unfinished Aloft Hotel (3111 Highland Park).

Interviewed by the Oklahoman, “We plan to continue the rich tradition that Colcord has established as the most iconic, boutique, full-service hotel in Oklahoma City," Beffort said. "Since it is in our backyard, we believe it is a strong addition to our portfolio of downtown OKC property."

Mark Beffort  is also the lead partner in the ownership of Leadership Square, City Place Tower, Oklahoma Tower and Corporate Tower.

Oklahoma City's ever growing and expanding Wheeler District

This unique district nestled inside an old airport--brings the area new life.

What was once a hideout and haven for vagrants drinking themselves into a stupor; this once blighted area in now home to a community of families with an expanding source of amenities inside this 90 acre development.  The former Downtown Air Park now houses the once infamous Santa Monica Pier Ferris Wheel.  The Wheeler District offers security and
an organized neighborhood watch that bonds this miniature city inside a large city.

New Townhouses and Condos show an impressive new development

New charter school construction.

Big Friendly Brewery, provides an outlet to quince the neighborhood thirst.

The new mixed-use building is one of several exciting construction projects underway in the district.

Oklahoma City mall gets sold for $6.5 million. Plans for the property to be revealed at a later date

Crossroads, the first multilevel regional mall in Oklahoma City, first opened in 1974 and is slightly bigger than the city's other large indoor shopping centers, Quail Springs and Penn Square Malls.

The property formerly known as Crossroads Mall and Plaza Mayor has been sold after years of uncertainty about the future of the indoor shopping center.

The 800,070-square-foot property consists of the in-line mall, and the former JC Penney and Dillard’s spaces at 7000 Crossroads Bouleward.

Price Edwards handled the transaction, which saw Linn's Crossroads Plaza LLC pay $6.5 million to CRM Properties Group LLC for the once struggling mall, which sits on 60 acres of land near where Interstates 35 and 240 meet in southeast Oklahoma City.--Oklahoman, June 5, 2021
