The Oklahoma City Thunder are adding to their forward depth with Jack White coming to town. The Australian, who played
for the Denver Nuggets in the 2022-23 NBA season, has reportedly struck a two-year deal with the Thunder, per Shams
     Charania of The Athletic.

The Miami Heat traded Victor Oladipo back to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday night in exchange for future Draft
      compensation, per multiple reports.

Just another bunch of rich guys looking for someone to give them more money than the previous city.  Nothing to develop any kind of meaningful relationship with anyone in either town.   Wait til the next few hundred million comes down the road!  Which city will be next to buy a basketball/football/baseball team?

Sadly, OU and TX as showing us the way college sports have sold out, too!

Luckily I have never formed any real attachments to sports other than a mild fondness for OSU and TN football.  But can easily take it or leave it.

You have a ood healthy attitude about sports.

Got to agree about college sports being sold out.  OU followers like myself, although my undergraduate studies were a University of Central Oklahoma,
I did complete grad work at OU.

Many of us will be devastated if OU's success in the Southeastern Conference doesn't produce a competitive team among the SEC schools.  Arkansas has
had to endure years of mediocrity when they joined the SEC. in 1991.

The amount of money contributed toward OU's facilities for the stadium alone was $160 million expanded the capacity from 76k to 85,000.

University of Texas has donors that make it difficult for the football program b/c of the pressure thrust upon the Athletic department to produce a national
championship contender--more pressure than at rival Oklahoma.

Well, we'll see what happens when 2024 season arrives.

With the impending vote at the end of 2023, possible stadium renderings should not be far behind. This is an exciting day for Oklahoma City!
