What makes this restaurant unique: It's much like any other Japanese style restaurant in that it offers both dining room and grill side service, but it's close to home, reasonably priced, and the food is always fresh. They do get crowded on Friday and Saturday evenings, and it's wise to call ahead for a reservation.

Tell us about your experience: I never had a bento box before today. It's best described as freshly made takeout. My lunch consisted of chicken grilled in a light teriyaki sauce, a house salad, steamed rice, fried wontons, and four pieces of California roll. All of it was made fresh and I waited no more than 8-10 minutes. Portions were ample. I told my skinny daughter it would have been two meals for her.
