Partnership between Mark Perkins and the First Ward owners called Hygge Properties with plans to develop ___... they haven't made it that far. But they have made an announcement that they plan to develop ___.

I thought the building had been rehabbed already into office and gallery space.

First floor has a gallery and a comedy parlor
Second floor is a salon: The First Ward.

I wouldn't. But one of my uncle's used to get glassy eyed when he would utter, "around the world at the May's rooms...."

Never paid for it myself.  At least not by the hour or trick.

I thought this was a fun and interesting article:

Also love some of the quotes from former judges in this one:

So what you are saying is that some of the young professionals back in the day used to rub in the right way?

I worked in a business downtown where there was occasional contact with some of the ladies - all extremely NON physical.   Some were nice girls, they just had a different career path than would be considered mainstream.

Very close - like next door - was Logan's Concessions where you could get really good theater popcorn and fountain drinks - best mix in town, then or now or any time in between!!

I’d always heard that was connected to the old Avalon Steak House somehow.

The building is gone - it is a parking lot now.  That one little building at east of parking used to be part of it IIRC.
