My wife recently visited Lyon's Indian Store, 111 South Detroit.  We've been going here for many, many years.  They've been around for over 97 years.  She was told that they will be closing.  We hated to hear that.  It's one of Tulsa's icons and though we probably only shopped there once or twice a year, it'll be sorely missed once it's gone.

That's too bad. Maybe someone will come in and take on the business. There's always been a big opportunity for them to be a real native art and supply store instead of just a tourist shop. The right person could do pretty well. Something like Supernaw's in Skiatook but keeping the tourist aspect too.
