I had guessed West Tulsa when I saw some of it on national news.

We watched it like a reality TV show one evening with friends. If anyone wants a definition of "what trash," there it is. We narrowed it down to Turley or West Tulsa. No other possibilities really.

There is the same view throughout, just seasonal changes, night/day, and trash day or not. Those are the only markers.  None of the conversation help narrow it down either.

I was trying to remember if any portion of the City has different trash pickup - because this place has the standard bins. Otherwise the clue is no curbs, no ditches, and old generally trashy houses. I guess one could figure out the sun to see if the street is E/W or N/S.

I wish they'd say "Charles Page" or "Sand Springs Line". West Tulsa as a whole is NOT like this.

To be fair that is Northwest Tulsa or what we call the Sands Springs line. The area is suffering from proximity to a county project nearby, Sandy Park. The tornadoes last spring did some serious damage in the area but it was an area of meth, poverty and poor upkeep between Charles Page and the river. North of Charles Page isn't so bad.

I was threatened with death by shotgun once by a resident near Sandy Park when my boat stopped on an island he thought was his. The Gilcrease expressway extension is planned to go through the area.

Yeah, that highway that makes no sense. It's almost like someone owns some land around there they want to take advantage of.
