Never heard of it, and to be honest it seems a little expensive, but some of you guys seem to like things like this.

Summer time is upon us, and we are bringing 1000 feet of slick vinyl to brighten your city streets. Come dressed to impress because it’s not every day you can strut through town with your hot bod, cool dance moves and slick slides. Did we mention 1000 feet? Yeah, that’s over 3 football fields.

Pretty cool, would be lots of fun. But at $35 for three rides, would be a $100 afternoon for what is a short ride.

But pretty awesome still!

I think after three trips down a 1000ft slide, you might get tired of walking back

But what about the mouth guard, tube, & drawstring bag?  The mouth guard makes it worth at least that!  And for $35, that’s got to be one high quality tube!

I feel for the poor bastard who registers day of.

/edited to add:

Not all promoters are that sleazy, but they make it sound like a huge fund raiser for local charity when the charity gets maybe 5% of the till or net proceeds.  TUWC is still chasing down an out of town event promoter who owes us money after claiming they were doing a race to benefit the TUWC’s efforts to purchase land on Turkey Mountain.
