That is a very good route.
His 9.33 days driving time is way off, - by
at least of factor of 3 if using an RV. 2 to 3 months is not gonna be long enough, even just hitting the high spots. If you stop at each of the points, and use that as a 'base' of operations to see a circle of things maybe 100 to 150 miles in diameter - maybe even 200 miles - well, NOW you have a major bucket list trip!! If you had two months each summer for maybe four or five years, then you will do some good! Take lots of pictures.
I took a trip very close to that western loop, starting Tulsa, on the bike one time. 6,000 miles in 9.5 days, with one day off visiting people. There were a couple of 1,000 mile days in that.
Only have two states to go - North Dakota and Hawaii to get all 50.
Walking the Appalachia trail is on my list. 30 day increments during summers until get the whole thing done.
