Living in my North East Oklahoma bubble. And not really caring what the L they do down there. I had no idea about this big tourist mess of a Museum being half done since 2010.
Good idea? Bad idea? discuss amongst ourselves.

The state has already kicked in tens of millions more than it was supposed to, and the amount to complete it seems to vary. They promise "just give us another $30M, and we promise we'll raise the rest"

Meanwhile, this museum HAS A STAFF. Half built, over budget, and bankrupt, but it HAS A STAFF.

Is Sager in charge of that project?

There is a bill submitted in the Oklahoma House (I have the list at work) proposing to:

1) Re-write the gaming compact with the tribe,
2) Cut the education funding from gaming, and
3) Give that money to the museum.

YAY!  MORE CUTS TO EDUCATION!

If anyone doesn’t see what kind of people get turned out of our education system when funding is cut, look no further:
