In anticipation of our upcoming “kNOW Your Tulsa” meeting (Wed. Sept.3rd at 5:30pm. Don’t miss it!) we’ve created a map of all of the downtown housing developments that we’re currently aware of.

If you know of a property that’s currently being built for housing, in the downtown area, please contact us and we’ll include it on the map! Or if you would like to contribute to this, or other mapping projects we’re currently working on, please let us know.

Does Central Park Condominiums qualify for this map? http://www.cptulsa.com/ Or something like The Blair http://www.apartmentratings.com/rate/OK-Tulsa-Blair-Apartments.html ?

Both would certainly qualify as downtown living.

What we wanted to do w/ this map was basically compile the information we had on new housing developments.  It was really kindof an experiment more than anything else, just to see how the Mapbox (https://www.mapbox.com/) software works.

It'd be great to go back and list buildings that currently have tenants.  We plan to show this off at our Sept. meeting: http://tulsanow.org/index.php/tulsanow-sept-2014-meeting/ and maybe get some ideas from TulsaNow folks about how to make this map better, and include more information.  Join us!

"New" means what?  I don't consider Tribune Lofts new, and that project is shown two blocks farther west than its true location.

Metro at Brady is shown two blocks farther west than its true location.

Brady Street south of Guthrie Green is East Brady, not West Brady.

Thx for the input.

We're working on a couple of other projects at the same time, but our sept. meeting next week wed., might be a great time to crack this open again and start adding some more info, more properties, and fix some of our initial mistakes.  Feel free to join us!
