Everyone likes donuts. Actually there are two kinds of people who don't;
1. People who are lying
2. People who are wrong

Anyway, my current "go-to" is Cherry Street Daylight Donuts and I saw today they are moving downtown, apparently to the old Phat Philly's location at 11th and Detroit. Seems like a good fit considering donut shops don't need a lot of seating. Also, drive through of all the commuters coming in from the BA.

When did Heavy Metal Pizza close down?

Few minutes after it opened.

Non-sarcastic answer:
Opened: Feb 2013 (late night only)
Lunch added: Sep 2013
Closed: Dec 2013

This is great news.  I typically go to the Daylight on 6th Street just west of Lewis because it is easier to get in and out of on busy mornings than the one on 15th.  This will a great option.

As long as it's not Krispy Kream donuts. Those donuts are so pumped with stuff that they can still be soft  fresh two weeks after you buy 'em. or so it seems to me.

Sourpuss lives in a different dimension, so unless you visited the mirror universe Krispy Kreme, it wasn't the same.

Is Cherry Street Daylight Donuts move to downtown confirmed?  Can't find it anywhere on the interwebs.  Love this location.

That Phat Philly's building is cursed...CURSED I tellz ya!.

The pizza was decent, but Heavy Metal Pizza wasn't even trying. I called for delivery and they told me that they would need to call their driver into work. Not a problem so I went to pick it up after 20 minutes...it was ready 30 more minutes after I got there. Other than me the store had one other occupant, the pizza guy. And so it went. I really wanted them to make it.

Hopefully DLD will make it work.

It's on flyers on the door and inside the store.

Keep in mind, TulsaNow generally beats other news outlets by at least a week on pressing matters such as donut shop relocations.

I really wish they would keep the Cherry Street location open.  I really like that location.  I can walk there on nice mornings.

My assumption is that they aren't moving because they dislike the current location.
