Tulsa Press Club hosts third Trivia Night

TULSA, Okla. – July 10, 2014 -- The Tulsa Press Club invites you to the third edition of Press Your Luck trivia night, Thursday, Aug. 28, at the Stokely Event Center.  

Featuring Tulsa-themed questions drafted by some of our biggest local know-it-alls, Press Your Luck promises to be a night full of good-natured rivalry as teams battle for bragging rights as the kings & queens of Tulsa Trivia. A full bar will be available to help your brain muscle, with food from Burn Co. BBQ.

Form Your Team, and Get Ready to Play!

WHEN:     Thursday, August 28th, 2014
WHERE:    Stokely Event Center
              10111 East 45th Place
              Tulsa, OK 74146
TIME:      6:30 p.m. – Food; cash bar beer, wine, mixed drinks
              7:30 p.m. – Trivia begins
COST:      $40 – Individual ticket. $500 Team Tables.
              *Sponsorships available as well.

Teams should consist of up to eight people. If you don’t want to form a team, we’ll group you with other individuals – just include that information in your RSVP.

Proceeds will support the programs of the Tulsa Press Club, one of the few remaining press clubs in the country.  Started in 1906, the Tulsa Press Club has served Tulsa and the remaining community for more than 100 years and remains a champion of free and open information exchange.  The members-only professional organization offers networking, education workshops and forums.  Membership is made up of a cross-section of professionals and is open to everyone.  Located in the historic Atlas Life Building in downtown Tulsa, the clubhouse provides a quiet, professional atmosphere for business meetings, lunches or after-work socializing.

I can't play this year because it conflicts with my son's All-City football game.

But sgrizzle and I were on the team that won it all last year. This was really fun and I am sorry to miss it.
