The RiverSide 5000,  5K Race is next Saturday August 16, anyone here going to run in it? I plan to run it I ran it last year and the year before that.  The main race starts at 8:am and the Elite Race starts at 7:30 am. I had some knee problems since May 17th, when I hurt my left knee training for the FullMoon 5K Race,  my knee seems to be healing fine now- it better be it's been almost 3 months. I guess I pulled something in the knee. The race course  is up & down RiverSide Drive starting  from 96th street. The course goes up to the Casino and back and half way out again and back into the finishline. The cops will have Riverside drive closed down for the big race event. Smiley

http://www.tulsarunner.com/riverside-5000/  >>>> It's a flat fast course so this would be the race to set your best PR time.
