I don’t share my thoughts because I think it will change the minds of people who think differently.  I share my thoughts to show the people who already think like me that they are not alone.

Yeah....that's what he gets for being left-handed!!   And trying to shoot a bolt action rifle backwards!  Shouldn't somebody do something about that?  Maybe make a government bureau, if not a full blown agency??!!

There is no place in a civilized society for an sport that requires the use of a ball in any configuration.

You do realize that is the only definition of "Sport" That and keeping score.

I watch NASCAR and have tried to explain to other fans it is not a sport. It's a skill.  Roll Eyes

I consider the legacy Olympic sports - as in Grecian times - to be sports.  Anything with a ball is just an attempt at redefinition and political correctness.

There is a difference between Sport and Athletic Competition.  Depending upon the definition, an activity can be both or neither.

Also my definition of a sport includes the ability for any Joe blow to be able to participate. So there again. Some skilled activities do not apply as being a sport.

Nah. Kind of like Pro Wrestling. It's all about how you enjoy "your" entertainment.

I'm having trouble thinking of an activity, even a highly skilled one, where a person could not participate at some level.  Obviously not everyone can participate at the highest end of any sport or activity, but at some level there is room for participation in just about everything.

I have a grand nephew who was part of the longest reigning WWE Tag Team Champions of all time....

Last I heard, he was in overseas wrestling....getting too old for the "Big Show" here in the states!
