Billy Caskey will be attending and we are continuing to confirm other former players.  Please help spread the word.

Only 6 weeks until the event!  The Oneok Suite at the Chapman Stadium press box has room for about 400 attendees.  Tickets are $75.
We are still looking for sponsors!  Sponsorship levels are $1000, $2500 and $5000.

Also, there is a good possibility that the event will be recorded for an upcoming documentary.
If you have strong interest in becoming an equity partner for the documentary, please IM me here, or email usrufnex@tulsaroughnecks.com for details.

What a great idea. I still remember that fantastic season. It seemed like all the teams that could have defeated the Roughnecks in the playoffs, were beaten by teams the Roughnecks had a better chance of defeating.

I also remember how disappointed I was with the response in Tulsa from the general public about winning the Soccer Bowl.
It was the equivalent of the The Super Bowl, World Series, NBA Championship or The Stanley Cup to me. But most all of Tulsa did not see it that way.

How fantastic would it have been if they could have had the same response the Oklahoma City Thunder are enjoying with all their success?

I think I donated my white Dr Pepper bottle to Boomtown Tees a few years back... TU coach Mac got his 200th win Friday night against Ohio State... http://www.tulsahurricane.com/sports/m-soccer/recaps/090713aaa.html

You can look at it as a glass "half-empty" or a glass "half-full," but Tulsa's amateur NPSL team playing at the old ballpark is basically a mixture of talented ex-college/ex-pro players and an all-star team from Oklahoma's only NCAA D-1 men's soccer programs at TU and ORU, as well as NCAA D-2 players from Rogers State and Northeastern State.

I always enjoyed going to Caskos at Fontana mall after the games. Drinking and having a great time with most of the players. They were a very fun bunch of guys.
