Weekend Activities Around State
06-10-2005 3:43 PM

(Oklahoma City, OK) -- There is a lot going on around the state this weekend. In Oklahoma City, it's the deadCENTER Film Festival, and Charlie Christian International Jazz Festival. In Midwest City, it's the Tinker Inter-Tribal Council Powwow, where they'll be honoring veteran warriors from Oklahoma's Native American tribes. On the shores of Lake Arcadia in Edmond, it's Acousticadia. The music festival features artists such as Ricky Skaggs, the Byron Berline Band and Red Dirt Rangers. In Pryor it's Country Fever, the largest country music festival in Oklahoma featuring more nationally-known artists. In Tulsa, approximately 600 cars will be on display at the Leake Collector Car Show and Auction. In downtown Checotah, it's the Old Settlers Day and Parade. Pawnee will have the Pawnee Bill's Original Wild West Show.<
