Now the Jawas will talk and have zany direct-to-dvd antics.

*shudder*

In all reality, Pixar controls Disney now and the Pixar guys seems to be quality people so this COULD be a good thing.

IL&M and Skywalker Sound should pay off the buyout with all there contract work within the industry. Very smart move, add to that charactor rights, and movie revenue, great move for stock holders.

My boss believes this is perfect timing for Lucas before the Bush tax break runs out. And the new Obama tax is implemented.
Kinda like when Steinbrenner died just in time for his family not to lose much of their inheritance.

Lucas has said the bulk of the money is going to be donated, so taxes aren't an issue.

I hope they can work in a Buzz Lightyear cameo in one of the new Star Wars films.

I'll take the Pixar emphasis on character and story first. The last three SW films were a mess. "Hold me...like you did....by the lake...on Naboo".
