Medlock, his wife, and the Real Estate business

Councilor Medlock and many Tulsa realtors seem to hate each other.  I've heard that Medlock's wife actually works in the real estate business.  Is that true?  Since he has no other job than his city council job and it pays just $18,000 per year, it seems to me that the real estate business may actually be paying his bills, yet many of them want to have him recalled and he seems to despise them (I think I heard him and Delwhacko making critial comments about GTAR recently)
  Boy, his wife must really have a stressful job these days!
