Can't do a thorough review of this little place in Bixby since I got my order to go. I got the pulled pork lunch size sandwich, w/ fries and drink for $6.00. Helluva bargain, particularly since I had no plan to go in until I passed it on the way to the post office today. I was going to stop by, gulp, McDs on the way home.

Terrific sandwich plain. But at home I added the "hot" barbecue sauce from Charlie Vergos' Rendezvous in Memphis, TN which made that sandwich the best BBQ sandwich I have EVER had. Here's a link to Rendevous' store, which I discovered watching Man v. Food:

Don't worry Gassy, I still love your rubs and sauce.  Wink

Ate their grub at the Bixby BBQ festival and I've been meaning to go back ever since, but BBQ is off the menu for another week or two yet.  What I had was outstanding.

On a diet Conan?

Go for something light and sophisticated this weekend.

Oh my goodness, is that a roll of sausage and bacon wrapped in a crispy jacket of bacon and dusted with rub and slathered with sauce?  Why yes it is!

It's my favorite meal to make when my vegetarian friends come over.

It really is. And to think I probably never would have gone there had I not passed it on one of my very rare visits to "downtown" Bixby. Here's their menu:

I asked what their "signature" item was and they said "pig wings". Here's a pic:
