They shot for two episodes while they were here. Elote is part of their Rt. 66 episode, which will air later in the season.

That episode is unique in that it doesn't target a city, but places along the Mother Road.

Tulsa did very well in the Rt. 66 episode.  Ted Drew's frozen custard in St. Louis and a steakhouse in California were on the episode, but the Elote and its puffy tacco contest was featured for at least half the episode.  A shot of Adam in front of the blue whale was used coming out of several commercial breaks.
