After a dismal 0-2 start to this series at home, the Oilers go on to Mississippi, take two in their building, come back for the decisive fifth game and defeat the RiverKings 5-2 to advance to round 2 of the CHL playoffs.  They will play the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs  The Mudbugs have home ice advantage.

Tonight's game was as fun a game as I've seen in the BOK Center from the guys.  Only 4500 announced attendance but it was very loud for the third period.

This is noteworthy as the Oilers have not advanced past round one of the CHL playoffs since 1994.

Yes, 1994.  Good work boys.  I had you down and out.  I ate crow all week and I'm eating it again tonight.  Tastes good with barbecue sauce though.

Global warming isn't real because it was cold today.  Also great news: world famine is over because I just ate - Stephen Colbert.
