Accepted norm, but not a right.

Constitutionally-speaking neither health care nor a public education system are "rights".

People also have the ability to think and act pro-actively on their healthcare instead of sitting in the Laz-E-Boy eating pork rind sandwiches and watching Jerry Springer re-runs. 

I'm kind of surprised you are for the government being a willing accomplice in drugging up society with their friends in big pharma.
