...and what were you thinking the photo would be?

I blundered across this at the Community Thrift on Admiral.  It's a treadle pump organ in remarkably good shape.  I can vaguely remember on in our church when I was very small, but it never worked and it was replaced with an electric model.

I think they were asking $500 for it, but Saturday was half price day, and it was knocked down to $250.  The manager said it still worked, but it was missing a candleholder that went on a shelf in the middle.  Apparently the panels on either side at the top could be removed and replaced with mirrors or photo frames.  The carving is intricate and gorgeous.

There's a guy over at the flea market on the west side who does player pianos too.  I have a photo somewhere.
